Hello, I'm Ellen Egan, owner of Egan Gardens. We are greenhouse nursery that grows bedding plants, perennials, hanging baskets and assorted oddities. We are particularly proud of our Geraniums, of which we grow more than 60 varieties, available from March to early July, most years.

We make beautiful planters in all different kinds of pots and baskets all through the spring and summer. We understand that not everyone gets their planting done at the same time, and we keep fresh crops of flowers growing up all summer for those who get a late start. We sell wholesale to stores and landscapers, and retail to the gardening public.

Since we are the grower of the majority of the plants sold here, we can give you accurate information on the care of your plants, and help with health and nutrition problems (plants, not human). We're also a pretty artistic bunch and can give you recommendations for pretty combinations for planters and beds.

We've been in business over 50 years (2002 was our 50th anniversary). My father, Bill Egan, started in 1952 with two greenhouses, which are still in use. It was he who settled on Geraniums as our main crop, though the production list has expanded greatly through the years. He had a vision of growing premium quality plants and the skill to carry it out. I have done my best through my 20-plus years here to carry on his tradition.
