If
you love flowers and want a great selection of the healthiest plants in
the Pacific Northwest, this is the place. Whether you're an experienced
gardener with a beautiful collection of unusual plants, a beginner timidly
learning the basics, or someone who just wants your yard to look nice,
we think you'll find a visit to Egan Gardens worthwhile.
We welcome you to visit Egan Gardens in person. We're open
March through mid-October. We're easy to find. See our Map
& Directions Page. See our Calendar page
for a list of our activities.
Winter
finds us shipping out the poinsettia crop from mid November until the
last late orders just before Christmas. Although almost all the crop goes
out wholesale to fundraisers for schools, charitable organizations and
churches, we often have some extras. If you are interested in purchasing
poinsettias for yourself, your business, or a group you belong to you
are welcome to call us - 503-393-2131, and use extension 4 for me, Ellen,
or ext. 3 for Lori, our sales manager. Its a beautiful crop this
year, the sunny fall got them all growing big and strong, with vibrant
colors.
Every year we get some calls from people wondering how best to care
for their poinsettia plants. Please check our Timely
Topics page for the real how-to, based on personal experience.
(As opposed to the half-nonsense you sometimes read in the newspaper or
magazines.)
